Wall & Soffit Framing

Wall & Soffit Framing

With the exterior siding and trim almost complete, the focus now lands on site, granite curbing, concrete walks, pylon sign structure, and yes, CMP did their thing to establish elevated service over the roadway!

What a pretty day it was indeed!  Hung hollow metal egress doors, began drive through trim, finished ceilings, installing pneumatic tube system in canopy, we got a lot done since our last report!

Norway Savings Bank Gray ~ Project Progress 8.29.14

Another incredible Friday here in beautiful downtown Gray Maine .. this week has been really productive!  We had our bi-weekly project meeting with the Owner and Architect and specialty subs and consultants, and met one major milestone.  We finished the ‘off-site’ work in the adjacent roadway intersection of Libby Hill Road and Rt.26, we began roofing, including integral lead coated copper gutters, we are well underway on the interior, with roughin and spray foam in exterior walls……continuing siding and trim.  We also flew the cupola, building it on the ground for safety-sake.  Check out our progress pics for this week!

Progress for the end of July and to the third week in August has proven quite productive.  Onsite grading and base course paving; siding and trim began, and lots of headway on the interior roughin and framing.  The off-site road work is progressing well, with a due/completion date of August 27th….the buses roll and kids start school next week!  We are on our way and on schedule for the Mid-November Substantial Completion!  I love this part of the project!

The last two weeks in Maine have been hot and sticky .. NOT complaining mind you .. but in spite of that, construction in summer still has it’s benefits! Dry, humid, almost 100 degrees, no shade .. we’ve seen it all.  But in spite of all of that, our crews have hung tough and progress is outlined in the following pictures.  Enjoy seeing our progress .. we are on task and schedule!
